You know I remember having a dog when I was little however, she got ran over by someone driving on our road late at night. Since then I have had several dogs that I loved but not quite as much as I love our dog now. He is truly man’s best friend and part of our family. Sham is one of the most gentle dogs that I have ever known and I am glad that he is part of our little family. He is a Newfoundland, Labrador mix and when we got him he was 3 months old. Of course, we have had some obstacles to overcome with him. Shortly after getting him we found out that he had allergies and we could not figure out what type of allergies that was causing him to itch, and making his hair fall out. We took him to the vet and they said that he was allergic to flea bites. Well we had him on medicine and it seemed to clear it up for a little while. However, the following year the same thing started happening again, and this time he got really sick. We thought that we were going to have to put him down because we were running out of options. Instead of taking him to the vet again we decided to take him off the dog food and try a totally different diet. We feed him rice, ground beef, eggs, tuna, and vegetables. I am telling you what it made a difference in his health, and he is a beautiful, and handsome puppy. We do not feed him all of these items at once we split it up during the week. He was having so many problems with the dog food because the food does not have live cultures or live enzymes.
